Alcove smaller than normal king?

We measured 74"wide by 76" deep. Normal king is supposed to be 76" wide by 80" deep. Sheets are loose because of this, also feet are at the edge of bed. Gassing off of mattress has been horrible. 4 days and waking up with headache. Back hurts as well due to extreme softness. I don't recommend this product and would never get another simmons mattress ever.
