What is the best type of innerspring mattress for limiting disturbance from movements?

I am looking for an innerspring mattress that limits feeling the second sleeper's movement. Recommendations?

Diane, the Simmons Beautyrest Mattress line offers the best motion reduction in the industry for innerspring mattresses. They use the pocketed coil system that they patented in the 1920s. Many of the top brands of mattresses have started to also use that type of coil. They have been making that coil the longest and I think you would be making a good investment. Ciao

Hi Diane, There are other brands that use an individually pocketed coil system, like the Simmons Beautyrest. The difference between them make the Simmons Beautyrest your best option. The pockets in the Beautyrest are heat sealed at the center third, which allows the coils to truly move independently from one another. The pockets from the other brands are heat sealed at the top and bottom. While those coils are individually wrapped, they do not move independently from one another. This difference is what makes the motion reduction greater in the Simmons Beautyrest, than any other brand.

Thanks, Pete
