I have a foam mattress that is to soft and spongy. Can I put a firm mattress topper on it to firm it up?

Hi there -- Thanks for your question. As a general rule, a topper can be great for making a firm mattress softer, but is not nearly as good for making a soft mattress firmer. If you choose a firm topper, you will find that there is more surface firmness. However, even if the topper is on the thicker side (eg, 3"), the cushioning depth you experience (ie, how far you sink into the bed) is likely to be relatively similar to without the topper, since the rigidity of the topper won't be enough to keep your weight from reaching the softness at the top of the mattress.

I hope that's helpful.
