Great for first night and then lost support

This mattress felt great in the store, so we purchased one. The first night it was perfect just like in the store. After the 2nd day the mattress already started losing the firmness and becoming uncomfortable. In less than a month the back support is too soft and there are large body impressions just less than 2 inches and there is a hump down the center of the bed. Horrible back pain due to the large dip in the middle. Will be exchanging for something else. Is this due to the luxury firm pillow top style? Is it better to have a layer of latex on top instead of memory foam that softens and doesn’t provide support?
