Hi there -- Thanks for your question. First, IMHO there is no mattress that is universally good for back problems, meaning that no mattress can be good for everyone's back problems. Back problems are typically a result of one's spine not being held in 'neutral alignment' -- meaning, your spine being supported in such a way that it has the same shape/curves as it does when you're standing. The mattress that will do this best for you is going to depend on your body shape, weight, preferred sleep position(s), etc. -- just as the pants that will fit you best will depend on similar types of factors. With that said, I do think that the PranaSleep mattresses are very good mattresses. There are a variety of models from which to choose, so I feel confident that you would be able to find one that meets your unique requirements in terms of spinal alignment, pressure relief, and your other preferences. If you haven't already done so, I'd recommend watching our video overview of the full PranaSleep lineup, which you can see here: https://www.goodbed.com/mattresses/pranasleep/ I hope that's helpful.
