Mattress flipping

What ever happened with flipping your mattress periodically. It seems with the pillow tops this can't be done. Is it still a 'thing?'

Hi Sandy -- Thanks for your question. I'm afraid that mattress-flipping is very nearly gone. There are still a few flippable mattresses available on the market but they are very few and far between, and the odds are that your local mattress store won't have any.

FWIW, the brief history is that when the first one-sided (aka, "no flip") mattress was introduced about 15-20 years, it was an immediate success (much to the industry's surprise). From there, given the relative cost advantages, it wasn't long before one-sided mattresses were the only type that most companies in the industry wanted to make.

If you are looking for two-sided mattresses, AFAIK the largest selection is at US-Mattress.com. You can see all of their two-sided (flippable) mattresses here:

I have tested it from multiple browsers and computers but can't seem to replicate the issue you're having. What do you see when you try to open that link?

W10 - Brave browser: blank page, FF: blank page, IE: blank page, Avast browser: Boom it opened....how strange. I don't have Chrome browser to try it on.

ps: Some great looking two-sided mattresses for me to peruse...thank you!
