Hi there -- Thanks for your question. If you were to put the Nectar mattress on a Nectar foundation and put that foundation on the floor, the total height would be 18.5". However, if you are planning to put that foundation on a bed frame, then the total height would depend on which bed frame you choose (AFAIK Nectar does not currently sell a bed frame).
