Hi Sandra -- Thanks for your question. All of the latex used in the Spindle is made with the Dunlop method. However, one thing to understand is that like Talalay, Dunlop is available in a range of different softness levels. While I would agree that the softest available Talalay is softer than the softest available Dunlop, there is certainly plenty of Dunlop latex that is softer than lots of Talalay latex. Spindle itself uses at least two latex softness levels in creating the layer combinations that result in the different feels they offer. So, it is quite possible that their softer Dunlop is softer than the Dunlop in your topper. All that said, if you're looking for a mattress that is soft like a fluffy pillow top, then I think Spindle is probably not the right choice for you -- we classify their "Soft" model as a Medium-Soft on our softness scale (meaning just to the softer side of Medium). I hope that's helpful.

Very helpful. Thank you. Based on yesterday's quiz, this is an excellent match, so I am not ruling out this mattress. I am hesitant to order online because if it is not the right mattress, I will have no comfortable place to sleep in the interim (unless I am able to store my old mattress someplace). |

Yes, the Spindle Natural Latex Soft mattress is adjustable base compatible. This means it is designed to be used on an adjustable base without incurring damage or voiding the warranty. In our review of this mattress, we tested it on an adjustable base to look for any adverse effects as the head and foot are elevated, and to see how well it conforms to the contours of the base both with and without the weight of a sleeper. Overall, we found the Organic Latex Soft to have adjustable base compatibility.
