Hi there -- Thanks for your question. This shouldn't be too hard as these are fairly different mattresses. Here's a quick run-down of some of the key differences:

• In terms of softness level, we classify the Herobed as a Medium-Soft (i.e., just to the softer side of Medium) while we classify the Saatva Luxury Firm as a Medium-Firm (i.e., just to the firmer side of Medium).
• In terms of responsiveness, neither of them have a ton of slow-melting "memory feel," but Herobed definitely has more of the two. Meanwhile, Saatva has much more bounce, particularly what we'd call "deep bounce" -- meaning, the kind of bounce you feel by plopping your full weight down on the mattress (Herobed has very little of this type of bounce).
• Herobed has noticeably better motion isolation, though Saatva's isn't too bad
• Saatva has noticeably better edge support, though Herobed's isn't too bad
• In terms of cushioning depth, both are pretty close to the middle, but the Herobed will give you a bit more of a feeling of being hugged or cradled by your mattress while the Saatva will give you a little more of a floating on top of your mattress sensation.
