What is a good queen-size mattress set that I can buy for $600?

Depending on where you're located, I'd investigate locally owned specialty stores. "Specialty" doesn't necessarily mean high prices…they often have alternative choices to the most-advertised brands. When you're not paying for a manufacturer's huge advertising budget, you might find better values. More mattress for the money.
We all seek comfort, support and value. Best to try several mattresses and see what works best for you. Brands I recommend: Magniflex, Bed in a Box, Aireloom, Suite Sleep, Naturepedic, Carolina Mattress Guild…these are a few that come to mind. It does depend on what part of the country you're from. Keep in mind that environmentally friendly and organic products are great alternatives to products with toxic or unknown flame retardants. Thanks!
