Hello Everyone,
I’m in the process of upgrading my sleeping setup and am looking into getting a latex mattress for better comfort and support during home dialysis. I spend long periods in bed for both peritoneal dialysis and recovery time, so pressure relief and proper support are really important.
I’ve read that latex mattresses can offer a good balance between softness and firmness, but I’d love to hear from others in the home dialysis community. If you’ve used a latex mattress, how did it work out for you in terms of body support, sleep quality, and managing discomfort during or after dialysis sessions?
Also, did you go with a natural latex option or a blended one? Any particular brand, firmness level, or mattress height you’d recommend for home use—especially with medical equipment nearby?
