Hi there -- Thanks for your question. The good news in this case is that you actually may already have what you need. * Hip pain is caused by inadequate pressure relief, which is why a firmer mattress may have given you hip pain before you put the topper on it. * Back pain is (usually) caused by improper spinal alignment, which CAN result from a mattress that is too firm for you (though it can also result from a mattress that is too soft for you). Neck pain, however, is different than the other two -- it is caused by having the wrong pillow. This means a pillow that doesn't work with the combo of your body and your mattress. For example, when you added the topper to your mattress, a pillow that worked for you without the topper is not likely to work for you with the topper. This is because the topper adds cushioning depth and conformance, meaning the gap between your head and the mattress will be smaller than it was without the topper. Thus, you also need a thinner pillow. If you continue to use the original pillow that worked without the topper, it will be too tall, and this will cause improper alignment at the top of your spine, resulting in neck pain. So if the topper fixed your hip and back pain, then I would quit while you're ahead as it relates to the mattress + topper and focus your energies on finding a more appropriate pillow to go with this new combination. This will also be a lot less expensive adjustment than looking for other mattresses and toppers. I hope that's helpful.
