Hi there -- Thanks for your question. I would certainly recommend following up with the manufacturer and/or retailer to see whether this qualifies as a manufacturing defect that is covered under warranty. They'll need to see pictures and may even send out an inspector to look at it. Since you said the depressions don't rise back up, even with no weight on them, you may have a good case -- since that's how mattress manufacturers assess these things. I hope that's helpful.
