Hi Susan -- Thanks for your question, and sorry we missed this earlier. The short answer is no, I would not say that we "highly recommend" this bed over the other brands you mentioned -- though it should be noted that this has more to do with the fact that mattresses are highly personal, and finding your match is going to depend much more on what we call the "3 F's of Mattress Matching" -- Fit, Feel, and Features -- than it will on the brand. As such, we would never "highly recommend" any brand over any other -- except perhaps as it relates to one person's unique needs and preferences.  

With regards to consumer reviews, these can be very helpful in assessing a company's overall customer service, which should certainly be a gating factor, but it is very difficult to use information from customer reviews to pick the right mattress for you.

Once you've narrowed your options, I would then recommend a) looking at our in-depth videos and written reviews to make sure that the features and characteristics of that product line up with your needs and preferences, and b) reading consumer reviews to make sure that the company stands behind its products and resolves issues as/when they arise.
