I live in a apartment complex with small hallways. Are there any adjustable beds out there that are easy to move into an apartment with small hallways? Preferably are there any adjustable beds that come in pieces?

Hi there -- Thanks for your question. The most compact packaging and assembly we've seen on an adjustable base was on the Classic Brands base that we covered in this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUvPmXfwf6s

The queen size weighs just under 150 lbs and ships folded in half, enabling it to be shipped via UPS. The box in which it arrives is shown in the video (along with a description of the rather simple assembly process) in the section beginning at 13:42 in the video. In this folded up state with the legs unscrewed, I wouldn't think the small hallways would be a problem. As with any adjustable base, you'll definitely need two reasonably strong people to move it, but unlike some other bases, two reasonably strong people (who are not professional movers) could move it.

In a queen size, this base most often runs between $600 and $750 on Amazon. You can check the current price here:

I hope that's helpful.
