Hi there -- Our records show that the Bob's latex mattress line is latex over foam, meaning that it's a layer of latex on top of a polyurethane foam core. I don't know off-hand if it is synthetic latex, natural blend latex (often called simply "natural latex"), or all-natural latex (aka 100% natural latex) -- but if the price point is low, it is almost surely one of the first two. If you'd like to post a link to the one you're talking about, I'm happy to check it out for you.
