Hi Eva -- Thanks for your question. Yes, this mattress would definitely be compatible with an adjustable base. In general, latex mattresses should actually conform even better to the curves of the base (relative to spring or ordinary foam mattresses) due to their weight. I hope that helps.

Hi Eva -- A Spindle pairs nicely with motorized adjustable beds but we caution that they come in different grades. In this category you typically get what you pay for. Don’t be tempted by low “discounted” prices. The “compare to” price may have no basis. Avoid value options that are not much more than a motorized folding cot. They will not provide the kind of stability you need. You can expect to pay upward of $1,500 to $2,000 for a Queen; $2,500 and up for a King. Adjustable platforms from Leggett & Platt, Reverie or any of the major “S” brands can be good options. Look for: Solid platform — [i.e.:NOT wire or mesh]; and Motor with lift capacity +/- 850 lbs. [exceeding mattress weight + sleepers]. Feel free to contact us or visit our website with more questions...Thanks for thinking of Spindle! |

Not familiar with the "Spindle" latex mattress. However, I have a natural latex mattress and the Leggett & Platt adjustable base works without any issues. Go for it! |

Yes, the Spindle Natural Latex Soft mattress is adjustable base compatible. This means it is designed to be used on an adjustable base without incurring damage or voiding the warranty. In our review of this mattress, we tested it on an adjustable base to look for any adverse effects as the head and foot are elevated, and to see how well it conforms to the contours of the base both with and without the weight of a sleeper. Overall, we found the Organic Latex Soft to have adjustable base compatibility.
