Select Comfort's modular bases are the same for all mattresses, there really isn't one specific to the 7000 model. They are made of a very dense plastic and are hollow inside (just like their mattresses, haha). If you look them up on eBay, sellers post photos of them showing the various parts and pieces. They provide a flat, even surface, and are supposed to be incredibly durable, lasting as long as 20 years (taken from the Sleep Number website). I hope this helps, and have a great day!
