Can you use an iComfort mattress on a bed frame that has wood rails and slats?

If there are a lot of slats, then you do not need a box spring. A lot of slats is 12+. If they are more than 2-3" apart, look into a bunkie board for better wear over time.
If there are only 3-5 slats, you must have a box spring.
