I have an adjustable bed, meaning I can raise both my head and feet. I need a new mattress and want to know if I need to look for a specific type of coil and/or coil count that will allow the mattress to bend with my adjustable bed frame.

Pocketed coils will work great on the adjustable bases. I highly recommend considering a memory foam or latex option over coils. Try them if you haven't because they work the best on the adjustable bases.
I recommend checking out the Serta iSeries beds if you go for coils. They feel great and are adjustable friendly.
