Which of these Beautyrest Black models is really firmer?

I purchased the Beautyrest Black Kameryn Luxury Firm mattress from Macy's online. I was told that it was a little bit softer than the Kameryn Tight Top Firm mattress that they have in the store. When it came to my house though, it seemed much firmer to me than the Kameryn Tight Top Firm that I tried in the store. Is the Luxury Firm even firmer than the Tight Top Firm, or is it softer? I'm so confused. I'm having pain when I wake up from sleeping on it.

The luxury firm model is firmer. The information you got from the person you spoke to at Macy's is incorrect.

Two factors at play here. First, a newly made mattress delivered to your home will feel firmer than the floor sample. Second, The Kameryn Luxury Firm uses a heavier gauge wire than the Kameryn Firm model does. Their Kameryn Firm is the Ansleigh Plush/Firm at most stores. Macy's decision to call it "Firm" is the terminology that has confused their employees. The Luxury Firm is available on line, but not shown at the stores. The employees have no way of feeling the difference between the two and are going by the terms "Firm and Luxury Firm". A luxury firm mattress is normally cushier than a firm. But, because the proper descriptive term of "Plush/Firm" was abbreviated to only "Firm", it has confused the issue for everyone working at or buying this mattress from Macy's.
