The factories don't talk about coil count anymore. Now, it's coil density. Most mattresses today have a foam encased edge support, which takes up space that coils used to inhabit. The World Class has a 900 coil density...which is how many coils it would have, if the foam encasement wasn't there. 900 is for queen size. There are proportionately more or less for the other sizes. Salespeople at the retail level may or may not be aware of this latest change in the specs and may very well talk about the coil density as the actual coil count. This information would be incorrect.
