Hi Jim -- Thanks for your question. BestEdge is a proprietary name for Serta's edge support solution. In case you weren't aware, edge support is a mattress feature that provides additional support along the edge of the mattress -- making it easier to sit on or lye along the edge of the mattress. Edge support can be done in multiple ways, but in the case of Serta BestEdge, it is a foam perimeter -- meaning a roughly 3" block of firm foam that runs around all 4 sides of the mattress.
