Sealy Posturepedic Plus Innerspring Mattresses
The Plus collection was introduced in late 2020, and continue as part of the 2021 and 2022 Sealy lineup. They replace and represent an expansion of the previous Posturepedic Response Premium collection from 2017.
The Posturepedic Plus collections includes 10 innerspring mattresses, discussed here, plus two additional series within the collection of memory foam mattresses and hybrid (memory foam+springs) models, discussed in other GoodBed reports.
There are 10 mattresses in the innerspring Plus collection, which are further divided into three series. The exact names at the store are going to vary depending on the retailer, so we're using the names you are most likely to see: the Opportune, Satisfied, and Exuberant series. You may also see them referred to as Level I, Level II, and Level III.
The models in this innerspring series will appeal to those looking for a traditional-feeling mattress, without memory foam, and with plenty of bounce. If you are looking to replace an older Sealy mattress, one of the mattresses here is most likely to have a similar feel.
As you might expect, features and cost go up as you progress through the collection, but they do have a number of common features.
Pocketed Coils
All of the Sealy Posturepedic Plus mattresses feature pocketed steel springs as the main support, and the type of springs varies depending on the mattress. These mattresses have a traditional feel, with plenty of bounce.
In the less expensive Level I (Opportune) mattresses, Sealy uses the same coil unit in the discontinued Response Premium line, their 911 Pro coil unit (with 911 coils in the queen size). For the Satisfied and Exuberant series beds, it's an upgraded 1017-coil (queen) Response Pro HD unit, featuring stronger coils with an additional turn, suggesting better durability.
Edge Support
All of the Posturepedic Plus mattresses have stronger coils around the edge of the mattress, as opposed to some kind of foam edge support. Edge-to-edge coils like these improve air flow, which is a factor in a bed's ability to allow warm air to escape and cool air to replace it.
Adjustable Base Compatibility
All of the Posturepedic Plus innerspring mattresses are compatible with adjustable bases.
Mattress Covers
And finally, all 10 models in the Plus innerspring collection feature cooling high-density polyethylene fibers in the covers. These are special fibers woven into the the cover that can give it a subtle cool-to-the-touch property.
All of the covers have a small amount of memory foam quilted into the cover, and all have functional handles on the sides to help you move and rotate the bed.

Sealy Posturepedic Plus Level I
There are two models in the least expensive series, which you'll see sold as the 'Level I' or 'Opportune' (though names will vary depending on the retailer). Both are tight-top models (which means they have a traditional look and feel, with no pillow top).
In addition to the features common to all of the Plus mattresses, these two feature an additional thin sheet of gel memory foam in the central third of the mattress as a little additional support under the heaviest part of your body (the hips).
Both measure about 13" tall and vary in terms of feel, with a choice of Medium and Plush.

Sealy Posturepedic Plus Level II
The next models up in the Plus collection are the 'Satisfied' or 'Level II' mattresses. Again, names may vary depending on the retailer. But these are the middle models in the series, and even if the name is different, you should recognize them by comparing features.
These models add a 3/4" sheet of memory foam across the whole bed, not just the middle third, but it's important to note there's still not enough memory foam in these beds to give them that 'melting' feeling of memory foam. Rather, it's there for pressure relief and cushioning.
Compared to the Level I models, the Satisfied mattresses more comfort materials -- that is, more foam -- and along with that comes more cushioning depth and conformance; you sink in more, and the mattresses hug your curves more closely compared to the two Level I models.
Three of the Level II models are traditional-looking mattresses, and two are pillow-tops measuring 14" tall.

Sealy Posturepedic Plus Level III
The top end of the Plus innerspring collection includes the three 'Level III' or 'Exuberant' mattresses. While the Level I and Level II models contain only a small amount of memory (an inch or less), the Level III models have between 2" and 3" of it, depending on the model. The Ultra Soft model is the softest of all the Posturepedic Plus models, and it has the most cushioning and memory feel too (it's pictured below).
Bear in mind that Sealy also has a separate Posturepedic Plus Memory Foam (all foam) series as well as a Hybrid series which both feature more memory foam, and more of that 'sink into the bed' feeling that these Level III innerspring models.
In our look at these mattresses, we noted they offer an interesting blend of attributes: The quilted mattress cover/top is reminiscent of a traditional mattress, while the memory foam gives them a more modern 'sink into the bed' feel.
