Summary: Sealy Posturepedic Pro Collection
The new Posturepedic Pro line is a new series of mattresses from Sealy that includes both Spring and Hybrid models.
The Posturepedic Pro line is positioned just under the Posturepedic Elite line (and actually uses the same Posturepedic Pro Support System as the Elite), but tends to have a bit less memory feel and a few less cooling features when compared to the Elite. All of these mattresses have light blue covers with red accents. You'll often see these listed as the Sealy "Dupont II" models.
Shared Features in All Models
Posturepedic Pro Support System w/ PrecisionFit Coils and MaxSupport Coils
All of these models use Sealy’s top-of-the-line Posturepedic Pro Support System featuring their new PrecisionFit Coil.
This is a three-zone design with a reinforced center-third to provide just a bit of extra support at what is typically the heaviest part of a person’s body - their hips. This coil unit also uses Sealy’s newly engineered PrecisionFit pocket spring, which varies the coil geometry to create a coil with a soft initial contact and then a firmer range of underlying support. In effect, the MaxSupport coil unit is designed to feel soft, but remain supportive and to hold you in proper alignment.

New Covers
All of the new Posturepedic Pro models have a light blue cover with red accents.
These covers are built with some cool-to-the-touch fibers, although the sensation of coolness is a bit less noticeable than on the Posturepedic Elite models. Both the Quilted (spring) models and the Hybrid models are also treated with Sealy’s SurfaceGuard and MoistureProtect to ensure long-lasting performance. In addition, the Spring models also have eight heavy-duty handles sewn into the cover to help with moving and repositioning the mattress in your home.

The Spring Models
There are five total models in the Spring Collection: three tight-top models and two pillow-top models. In practice, these have a lot less memory feel than the Sealy Elite or Posturepedic Pro hybrid models, and tend to feel more like a “traditional” mattress. They also have a center-third with extra reinforcement created by a band of memory foam. This adds a touch of extra lift to the middle of the mattress and can help to prevent body impressions from forming with long-term use.

The Hybrid Models
There are two models in the Hybrid Collection. As their name would suggest, thesehave smooth-top covers that allow for the sleeper to feel more of the underlying foam layers and thus “hybridizes” the feeling of a memory foam and a pocket spring mattress.
Both of these mattresses have more Cushioning Depth and Memory Feel than the Spring models, although we think these have less Memory Feel than on the Elite models. In other words, there is more of a sense of sleeping "within" the mattress on these mattresses.

Who We Think These Are Best For
The Sealy Posturepedic Pro collection presents an excellent value proposition.
These use the same coil unit as the top-of-the-line Posturepedic Elite models and have similar feels, but are significantly less expensive. As such, we think these would be a great option for anyone looking for a traditional pocket spring or high-quality hybrid. These would also be a great option for people that feel like their mattresses have “sagged” in the middle in the past, as the zoned coil unit should help prevent this over time. We'd also point that the the MaxSupport Coil Unit does an excellent job of creating supportive alignment for side sleepers, especially for those with wider shoulders and narrower hips.
The only people we’d steer away from these models would be those looking for a LOT of Memory Feel or that would prefer an all-foam design. While the Hybrid model are close to the feeling of a foam mattress, the underlying coils are still pocket springs. The Sealy Posturepedic Pro models tend to have slightly less Memory Feel than their Elite counterparts.
