How much weight is a Beautyrest Classic mattress designed to support?

We are looking at the Simmons BeautyRest Classic Lorena Plush. Can anyone tell me how much weight (kg) this mattress will resist? My husband and I are overweight.

Thank you.

A plush Beautyrest uses a very thin gauge wire for the coils. The firm models use a a much heavier gauge. Any "plush" Beautyrest will lose its shape quickly and is a poor choice for anyone....an absolute disaster of a choice for anyone who is over weight.

Hello and thank you for your question!

Beautyrest mattresses are load-tested and designed to support two individuals that are 300 lbs.

In regards to durability, almost all mattresses that develop excessive wear are compromised because of low quality upholstery materials in the comfort layer of the mattress.

Beautyrest's 2013 line-up of products, especially the Beautyrest Recharge and Recharge World Class, have higher quality materials than average and don't really use a lot of low density foams. Our company replaces low density foams in all of our products and we didn't have to do too much to the Recharge designs to be approved by our product managers.

Thank you again for your question and please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions!
