Hamilton or Olivia?

What's the difference between the Hamilton and the Olivia firm?

The Hamilton is the bed made by Chattam and Wells directly that is the low-end of their product line. The Olivia firm and Olivia pillow top are made exclusively for Mattress Firm. We bought an Olivia Pillow-top. It's an excellent bed but may be a bit too firm for us. We would go the the Franklin and not buy through Mattress Firm for this upgrade. After extensive sleuthing since Mattress Firm does not give technical data on their beds, the Hamilton has 420 coils and the Olivia 720. I think the comfort layers are similar.

To the untrained eye they may seem similar, they are very different beds. Your mattress will get softer over the break in period of 3 months. The coil systems change the entire dynamic of the beds. Please call us at 617-884-2300 Monday through Friday 9am to 5 pm

I will call for sure. Getting any true comparisons is terribly difficult and the statistics for the Franklin height vary from 15-18". Which is it? We may need more comfort at the surface but we will wait a bit for the bed to break in. The salesperson at Mattress From felt the Daniella would be too soft and compress too quickly, Our height limit is 16" for a bed. How would you compare the Daniella to the Olivia Pillow-top? We both need a softer bed but want good quality and good support. We put a 2" latex topper on the bed for softness initially. We removed it last night but my husband shoulder's hurt as a result. I'd like a bed without the need for a topper. Welcome any comparisons or suggestions for greater softness at the top. Thanks so much!!

Brook S did you get and answere regarding the Olivia mattress and the Danielle mattress. I am wondering the same thing. I have the Olivia but thing the Danielle May offer more pressure relief as I’m not getting enough from the Olivia after all the Danielle has 2 more inches of latex, right?
