My wife and I have a great bed. It is a Spring Air. I remember as a young adult delivering product to the Spring Air warehouse in Hayward, CA. Now to find this mattress through Costco was a double blessing. Our last Spring Air mattress is 12 years old and nearly like new. It is now in our guest room and everyone who stays compliments us on their wonderful sleep on our 12 year old Spring Air! We have had a total of 3 mattress sets - all from Spring Air and will never buy anything else. Fine job Spring Air!

My only complaints are the thickness of the mattress (I had to purchase a stool to get into bed!) and the very hard bar down the middle of the mattress. I am not sure what the bar is or what the purpose is but, I don't like it.

Hello! thank you for your feedback! the hard bar is for the ultimate back support! it is a lumbar layer of foam. it helps you achieve optimal spinal alignment, this will get softer over time.

thank you!

I should have sent it back from day one. The box spring which supports the mattress is poorly constructed. It got very noisy very quickly. It was a shame because the mattress was comfortable. I just couldn't hear the creaking of the box spring for one more minute!

When I first ordered this mattress, I got it with the box spring as a set. However, the box spring wouldn't go through my stairs up to my room so I had to return the entire set and re order just the mattress. It would be beneficial to must costumers if Natalie would offer a two piece box spring for their Queen size beds just like they do with their King sizes. It would also help of Costco would offer the option of buying just the box spring just in case I'm able to later get it so I can have the whole set. When it comes to the mattress itself, it seemed to overpriced to have it lose its form a the end of the night and with time, especially since I'm only 5'7" and weight 145 lbs. My girlfriend weights a little less.

I weigh 160 lbs and am 5'9". I have a bulging disk. When I lay on my left side the mattress sinks in by my hip and causes the bulge to be pinched and leaves me with excruciating pain. It is not quite so bad n my right side but it is still painful. The only way I can sleep is on my back. However, when my husband leaves for work I slide over to the middle of the bed where it is still firm (though not as firm as it originally was) and it is not so painful. I had read the reviews on this bed and all raved about it except for a few who said it lost its firmness. And that has certainly been our experience.

No support for back- i'd wake up with horrible back pain- no support when rolling over on side- mattress would sink under my 140 lbs ( so not an obesity issue) and not conform to my body at all- left weird gaps with no support- floor was more comfortable- my boyfriend developed back pain from sleeping on it as well. I returned the mattress to Costco about 9 months after I got it( thanks Costco!!!) and instead splurged on the Marriott hotel bed. I no longer have any back pain!!!!

It was a well-rated mattress from Costco and some people reviewed it as too firm -- I prefer a more firm mattress. That hasn't been our experience at all. It's more or less comfy when you first lie down, but then we wake up in "sinkholes" and if you want to move your body to a different part of the mattress, it's hard not to roll back into the hole. The mattress just seems to give way way too much. It's a lightweight mattress and if you like to sink into a mattress, you might like it. I mean, we've had worse mattresses, but that's not exactly a ringing endorsement.
