Hi Karen -- Thanks for your question. This depends on whether you'll be using the mattress(es) on a pair of separately operated adjustable bases -- meaning, so that the head/foot on each side of the mattress can be raised or lowered independently. If yes, then you'll certainly need a different sheets setup than you would for a standard king (typically you'd just buy TwinXL sheets for each side). However, if you'll be using the mattresses on a normal flat foundation and the only aspect of the "split" formation that you'll be using is the ability to set a different "sleep number" on each side, then a set of king-size sheets will be fine.
