In many cases when the cover of a mattress is removable (generally via a zipper), it can indeed be washed. However, if there is no label on the cover that confirms this, then it's best to contact the manufacturer or check their website to be sure that you won't be doing any damage to the cover in the process, or doing anything that would adversely affect your warranty coverage.
