Thanks for your question. The term "no-flip" is the opposite of "two-sided." It simply means that the mattress only has a sleeping surface on one side, so it's not designed for you to flip it over from time to time and sleep on the other side of it. About 20 years ago, almost all mattresses were "two-sided" (i.e., very few were "no-flip"). Now almost all mattresses are "no-flip." Hope that helps!
