How do you get all the air out, of the hibernation mattress, for repair or replacement?

I noticed some slow water leaks at foot of mattress, after placing some towels under the corners. Water was drained with a pump drain. Mattress is to heavy to lift by oneself (I live alone). I and a friend have pressed on mattress to exhaust all the air, seems to be filled with some kind of foam and it is still too heavy to lift.

I suppose it would need to warm up as it feels stiff at 70 degree. Maybe some hot air from a hair dryer?

Has anyone had experience with this chore?
