Englander mattress has been around since 1894 and is now a global mattress company located in several countries all over the world. They make several different types of mattress (innerspring, memory foam, latex, hybrids, etc....). While they are not recognized very often by consumers in the United States as a major mattress company like Serta, Simmons, Sealy, and the like, they are very well known in the industry. The most comparable company I can think of to Englander is KingKoil. Both have been around since the late 1800s. Both are available all over the world. Both do very little if any advertising so they are not household name brands, but very well known within the mattress/furniture community. Both make several different kinds of mattresses with similar materials. Keep in mind, when purchasing a mattress, the name brand is probably the least significant factor you should consider when selecting a mattress. Choose a mattress more by comfort (both for your back and your wallet), and then if two mattresses are truly equal, then maybe consider the name brand, and really only for the sake of the warranty. You don't want to purchase a mattress from a company that might not exist within the warranty period. I hope this helps you, and have a great day!
