Difference between the iSeries Aficionado Firm vs. Plush?

What's the difference between the Serta iSeries Aficionado Firm and the Aficionado Plush? And why change the name from Applause to Aficionado?

One Answer:

The difference between a firm and plush is simply the type of material they use on the top of the mattress. They also use a wider quilt pattern on a plush so the material has more give then on a tight quilt pattern. It is only for surface comfort, the support system is the same in both models.

They change the name so you won't confuse the old models with the new models. There are improvements to the Aficionado even though it may look the same.
