Hi, this type of mattress is more about relieving pressure points that keeping you cool. Since memory foams tend to contour more to the surface of your body, you tend to feel warmer…the mattress may actually come in contact with more of the surface of your body, thus making you feel warmer. ChiliPad makes a wonderful product to keep you cool. Or, you may try a mattress cover made with "Outlast"…this is a fiber designed to keep your temperature more even. Another alternative is a wool topper.. keeps you warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

Tina, to directly answer your question...no mattress can guarantee that you will not sweat at night. There are many factors contributing, too many for any company or material to emphatically say their mattress will prevent you from sweating. Health issues and age can contribute to sweating during sleep, regardless of the type of mattress you have. Are you using a down and feather comforter, or one made with poly fill? Polyester blended sheets? Is your heater on at night? Heating pad? Again, you asked if it will keep you from sweating. While no mattress can prevent it completely, more natural ones will certainly help more than a synthetic foam one will. |
I recommend if you want to sleep cooler get rid of your synthetic mattress and bedding and you will actually sleep cooler. Wool is a great natural temperature regulator. 100% all natural latex mattresses has millions of vent holes and sleeps temperature neutral. The reason people sleep hot on synthetic mattresses is they are sleeping on foam and fabrics made of petroleum oil and synthetics. Then they have to put chemical flame retardants in it so it won't catch fire because petroleum oil catches fire very quickly. Natural products burn slower and when we make our 100% all natural organic mattresses we use wool as a natural fire barrier so you can sleep healthy. We have organic bedding and everything you need to sleep comfortably and cooler naturally. We would love to work with you. |
