Memory Foams and Cooling
All of the Hybrid mattresses include Sealy's more premium memory foams. In the firmer models, you'll find less of it, while the plush versions have more. You'll see Sealy's "ComfortSense" gel memory foam, which is used in some of the other collections. Only the Hybrid collection includes Sealy Immersion memory foam, which is infused with phase-changed material and is a slower responding foam than the ComfortSense foam.
Memory foam has long had a reputation for sleeping hot, and manufacturers have tried various innovations to combat heat retention. For the Sealy Hybrid models, gel and phase change particles are included in different combinations. Gel is a known conductor of heat and is meant to help draw heat from the body. Phase change materials are meant to feel palpably cool to the touch, with the intention of keeping you cool until you fall asleep. The Immersion foam includes phase change, as do some of the mattress covers in the Hybrid collection.

Adjustable Base Compatibility
Since the Sealy Hybrid mattresses are safe to use on an adjustable base, but that's not the case with all Sealy mattresses in general, so be sure to double check if that feature is important to you.
Let's take a closer look at the Sealy Hybrid models and how they compare to each other.
Sealy Hybrid Essential
There's just one entry-level Sealy mattress in the Hybrid collection. It's a 12" tall bed the includes 1.5" of memory foam on top of a couple of inches of polyurethane foam and a pocketed coil unit. The cover has moisture-wicking properties, but aside from the gel foam, there are no other notable cooling features.
There are stronger coils around the edge of the bed, meant to give it firmer edge support.
Note that the Essential Firm is sometimes seen called the "Trust II Firm" at retailers.

Sealy Hybrid Performance
The next two models up in the Sealy Hybrid line have more features and more premium materials compared to the Essential. These are the Hybrid Performance mattresses. You'll sometimes see the Performance Firm sold as the Kelburn II, and the Performance Plush as the Copper II.
Both have Posturepedic Technology, which in the Hybrid models amounts to a higher coil density in middle third of the bed -- Sealy arranges the coils different to pack more of them in to the central part of the support unit for about 20% more coils in that section. All have stronger coils around the edge for a strong perimeter.
You're getting more premium comfort foams compared to the Essential mattresses, including Sealy Immersion memory foam, which isn't available in any of the other collections. This is a particularly slow responding memory foam, so if you're after that really slow, sinking into the bed sensation, you'll find it in this foam.
The stretchy cover includes moisture-wicking properties to help draw away moisture.

Sealy Hybrid Premium
There are 3 models in the highest-end part of the Hybrid collection. The Hybrid Premium Firm and Plush are sometimes sold as the Silver Chill mattresses. The top-of-the-line Hybrid Premium Ultra Plush is also called the Gold Chill Ultra Plush in stores.
These include the same Posturepedic Technology as the Performance models (denser coil count in the middle third of the bed), and both have the premium, slow responding Sealy Immersion gel memory foam.
The big upgrade over the Performance versions is a phase-change cover that also has anti-allergen properties. So between the cover and the Immersion memory foam, these models have more cooling features than others in the Hybrid line. These are also the tallest Sealy mattresses, at 14" and 15".
The very top-end model, the Gold Chill, adds a layer of micro coils in the comfort layer; this is a sheet of small, encased coils meant to give the bed even more conformance and softness. We see micro coils as an emerging trend, and have seen then popping up in other brands, too. They really allow a mattress to hug your curves in a unique way.

Other Factors
Delivery and Returns
Sealy mattresses are sold in mattress stores and department stores. You cannot buy them online directly through the Sealy website, but you may be able to find them from other online stores.
Delivery and returns policies will vary widely depending on where you buy your mattress.
Warranty
Warranty information for each mattress is included on the mattress "Law Label" at the store, and vary depending on the model. Be sure to talk to your salesperson about warranty terms, and particularly about the body impression warranty, which will tell you how much of a permanent depression may form to be covered under warranty. For these Sealy Hybrid mattresses, it's 1.5," which is the industry standard for innerspring and pocketed-coil beds.
To obtain warranty service, you will be responsible for shipping the mattress back to the company or retailer, and some warranties are pro-rated, meaning you may only be entitled to partial credit, dependent on years of ownership. See: Sealy warranty info
