Summary: Nature's Spa by Paramount Collection

The new Nature’s Spa Collection from Paramount combines the best of organic latex with the pressure relief and luxury of high-end fabrics and copper-infused memory foam. The Nature’s Spa collection is available in both Quilted models and Smooth-Top hybrid designs.

First, let’s discuss the shared features across the line.

Shared Features in All Models

Organic Latex

All of the Nature’s Spa mattresses use some amount of organic Dunlop Latex. This is a very high-quality and highly durable material that adds responsiveness and bounce to the Nature’s Spa Collection.

Whereas many other brands will only use latex in their latex mattresses, Paramount actually combines this with other high-density foams like copper-infused memory foam. In our opinion, this is a good thing. It combines the strength and resilience of latex with the pressure relief of memory foam.

Micro-Coils

Additionally, all of the Nature’s Spa Collection make use of a novel type of micro-coil.

If you’re unfamiliar, microi-coils are made from extremely thin pieces of wire and encased in soft fabric and used in the comfort layers of mattresses. These typically feel as soft as a layer of foam and are even more durable. In the case of the Nature’s Spa mattresses, these are a unique coil-in-coil microcoil that combines a softer and a slightly firmer micro-coil in the same fabric pocket. In our experience, these are extremely comfortable and more robust than the average micro-coil. They also give these mattresses very high overall coil counts. A coil-in-coil sheet of micro-coils can add up to 4000 coils to a mattress.

Memory Foam

Finally, all of the Nature’s Spa mattresses also have some amount of copper-infused memory foam. This is a high-quality formulation of memory foam that adds copper gel beads with thermoregulatory and antimicrobial benefits. This layer of memory foam balances the resilience of latex and adds more pressure relief and contour to the mattress. In other words, this layer helps the mattresses to relax and adjust to your body's curves.

The Nature's Spa Collection

The Scott Living Collection can be thought of in terms of three rough subcollections: the Elia and Floren models, the Kensley models, and the Rosara models. As you step up the line, these add additional features and tend to have more comfort material and more Cushioning Depth.

Original Models

All of the Original Mattresses have a quilted cover and a high-density foam core. In other words, these are what we would typically call a foam mattress. That said, they also have the layers of microcoils, latex, and memory as described above.

There are four Original Models in the Nature’s Spa Collection:...

Hybrid Models

The Hybrid Models are what we would call a true hybrid design. These all have a smooth, stretch-knit cover, a significant amount of memory foam and latex, and an underlying pocket spring system. In the case of these mattresses, this is a three-zone pocket spring with a reinforced center third to better support your hips.

There are also four Hybrid Models in the Nature’s Spa Collection…

Who We Think These Are Best For

We think these are a great option for nearly everyone. They combine the best parts of a latex mattress with the pressure relief and immediate comfort of memory foam. The hybrids also use one of our favorite pocket spring systems in a three-zone coil unit.

The only people we’d steer away from these models would be people that want a lot of memory feel, or the feeling of a traditional memory foam mattress. These mattresses have memory foam, but they aren’t as slow-responding as many other memory foam builds.
