Hi there -- Thanks for your question. Yes, Puffy actually has two types of guarantees:

1) A 101 night sleep trial (which they call their "Sleep Guarantee" and we would call their return policy) -- Basically, you can return the mattress for any reason during the first 101 nights you own it and they will give you a full refund.

2) A lifetime warranty -- Here's what they say about this: "We have you covered for as long as you own the mattress. Should anything go wrong, we'll replace it free of charge." Here's what they mean in terms of what is covered:

• Visible indention or sag of the foam mattress greater than one and a half (1.5) inches that is not a result of improper use, an improper bed, bed base or foundation.
• A manufacturing flaw in the cover zipper - this does not include zipper breakage resulting from improper or overuse of zipper.
• A physical flaw in the construction of the cover, such as fabric tearing or stitch unraveling, that does not result from improper use.

Here's our view on how these two guarantees stack up:

• The return policy is very generous -- comparable to most of their online competitors but far better than most local stores are willing to offer.
• The warranty is pretty good on balance. The most important term in any mattress warranty is how they define an acceptable (i.e., not considered a defect) amount of sagging. Note that when making a warranty claim, sagging or indents are always measured with no one lying on the mattress. 1.5" is the industry standard for innerspring mattress warranties, however the industry standard for all-foam mattresses (like Puffy) is more like 0.75 - 1.0", so Puffy's warranty is a little below the norm on that front. On the flip side though, the "lifetime" aspect of the warranty is certainly well above the norm.
