Serta Perfect Sleepers have a Continuous Coil System so they most certainly can be used on a platform base, but they still need adequate support to keep the warranty satisfied. Your base needs to have several planks, also called slats (not more than 2-3 inches apart) to be used. If not, simply add some plywood or a Bunkie board on top of the slats you have and that will support the mattress perfectly. Hope this helps, have a great day!
