A foundation (no-spring box) will work beautifully with your Comfortaire. We also show Comfortaire beds on platform beds and Bedder Bed steel foundations. It's best to avoid an actual "box spring" with give....you really need a stiff foundation to have the bed wear properly and be eligible for warranty. So, if your box spring is actually a foundation (with no give) that should be fine. You can certainly buy a foundation from Comfortaire or a Comfortaire dealer if you wish.
