Using a Private / Incognito Browser Window
Getting Cash Back from GoodBed
What is a private/incognito browser window?
All modern web browsers (eg, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, etc.) provide an option for you to browse in “private” mode (or “incognito” mode, as it is known in Chrome). This option simply lets you use websites as you normally would, but without saving your browsing activity.
For example, you may want to use private mode when planning a surprise party for a family member who shares your device. This way, they won’t be able to see a history of the searches you did the next time they open your computer.

Why do I need to use a private/incognito browser window?
We pay Cash Back to our readers by sharing the referral fees that we receive from our retail partners. Of course, we can only do this when we are credited as the referral source for your purchase. So it’s important that your purchase is made in such a way that credit is given to GoodBed instead of a website you visited prior to GoodBed.
Most consumers are unaware that when you buy a mattress online, chances are high that the retailer will pay a referral fee to another website for your purchase. Unfortunately, due to how affiliate marketing works in the mattress industry, the typical outcome is that this fee is paid to a website that you encountered early in your research that tricked you into clicking on one or more of their links. By using a private/incognito browser window when you purchase, you can make sure that those clicks are not credited for your purchase.
The second part is that we also need to make sure that your purchase is credited to GoodBed. The best way to ensure this is to start your purchase by pasting the shopping link you receive from GoodBed into a private/incognito browser window. Shopping links are specific to a particular retailer, so the job of this link is simply to open that retailer’s website in a way that lets them know you came from GoodBed. From there, you can complete your purchase in that same window, just as you normally would. To get your shopping link for a given retailer, just find that cash back offer on GoodBed and open it.
