1st 2 months like sleeping on top an ice skating rink
This was our 2nd Tempurpedic, first was Cloud Supreme, which after 2.5 yrs developed craters, and hump in the middle. TempurP did the right thing, replaced it, we chose Flex Supreme Breeze which was mistake, didn't realize the cover didn't zip off like the others I just liked that feature..but we got it last March 2018, and to me it was COLD and much harder feel than showroom tester. In 4 mos or so it did get softer, very comfy although still in winter too cold for me...but after 10 mos softened up a bit too much. My back sometimes is stiff & I don't have back problems, my husband does always did & this bed isn't helping...prob should have gotten the Countour I guess. More disturbing, was we live on water-the top white cover, developed a light big greyish stain-think a chemical reaction, as to make the bed not so cold and keep it nice I put a protective mattress cover over it. I don't like "wrinkling" under my sheet, removed it, saw the big greyish brown stain at bottom (we didn't have a dog no kids, not peep) I tried to clean it, baking soda Hydrogen Peroxide as other models suggest, it made it yellowish orangey. Also noticed slight 3/4" dip in middle of mattress, husbands side. I took photos as this happened at 11 months, wrote to the Ceo and "TJ" as they were accomodating last year, this time TJ said to send him pics of the stain, as I asked how to remove it. He said he'd send it to his R&D dept and advise. He didnt reply, only said they are not replacing it, & as "valued customers" we should visit a showroom to test a few beds. I thought I misunderstood asked if they would pay for a new bed..he said NO-so as a valued customer I can pay for a new one myself, even though it did not hold up for even 11 months! So now TJ & the Ceo blow me off alltogether,..and the reason TJ asked me to send him photos was to invalidate any chance of warranty, even though it is not a body fluid stain...it is a chemical reaction as to their secret chemical imo in the top cover! Shouldn't happen on a $4000 + bed!

This bed was a demo which means it was up to 100 nights old. I got a break on the price and there was no commitment to keep the bed. One side was totally sagging and I had to turn the bed to find a spot to lay in that was supportive. I was not impressed with my first tempurpedic experience....not worth the $$

At first I thought the medium Hybrid was wonderful during the first 2 weeks, then 2 months later I started having back pains which just got worse. When I turned fast on the bed I felt like I could feel the coils below since the mattress appeared thin to me. Supposed to be 11 in mattress, I measured 10. I used a purple mattress pad and purple sheets with my tempur pedic and slept very cool. I'm a hot sleeper. Then I changed out the mattress pad and sheets with a tempur pedic brand mattress pad and just a 500 thread count sheet set and woke up sweating. I went back to the purple mattress pad and sheets and slept cool again. So I believe its not just the tempur adapt mattress that keeps you cool, but what kind of mattress pad and sheets you use. The Purple company got it right. I got rid of my Tempur Adapt because I just felt over the years it was going to wear down fast due to the thinness of the mattress. Theres a reason its on the low end of all the Tempur Pedics. High dollar for there low end mattress. I felt the coils too often with turning and when first sitting on the bed, just bothered me. I do think its supposed to be the other way around for when your told when you first get a mattress you may have some aches and pains till your body gets used to it, but not 2 months later. I couldn't take a chance on keeping this mattress. I do feel for anyone 200+ lbs may need to look at the higher end thicker Tempur pedic mattresses. Of course if you have the dollars, which I didn't.

Husband wanted adjustable head and others, this bed wasn't
Sleep number was good to me but my husband wanted an adjustable head, foot, and massager if possible, so we bought Tempur-Pedic but the delivery people did not bring the REMOTE TO Adjust the base, so we are back to aches and pains

Spent almost $3200 on this piece of garbage destined for the landfill. Absolute crap. One of the most ignorant purchases I've ever made in my life. Inflation device hasn't worked in years. Adjustable base doesn't work either. Wife has had to have back surgery and I've developed chronic back issues. Just purchased a new mattress and will be so happy to have tempurpedic out of my life forever!!!
The mattress that was bought has made my nights so much better in comfort and sleep. I have slept like I haven't slept in a long time. The price was right, the mattress was a great purchase not only for the wallet but as well as my sleep. When this mattress wears out, I will be getting the same thing again. I believe with the quality of this mattress that it will last for years. Maybe longer. I'm 62 years old and I believe this will be my last mattress to be replaced. It will last me that long.

When I purchased this mattress it was under LIFE TIME warranty. I have tried to file a claim after less than 1 year of having the mattress and they kept making up excuses as to what I WAS DOING wrong.
Here I am 5 plus yrs into it and I cannot get out of the bed because it feels as if I have sunken to the floor.
I called again to have someone to come and look at the mattress to see what was going on and they said they do not do this anymore. Try these tests and take pictures and send them to us. So I did...
They said it was NOT BAD ENOUGH TO REPLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just recently called again and told them I had to go to BED BATH and Beyond to purchase a foam thinner mattress to place on top of my bed so I can get out of it. The warranty Dept told me this time they would have someone come over to take a look at it....no phone calls as of yet.
So so very frustrated with this mattress I cannot see straight.
I really hope they follow through this time. I will keep you posted.
Sue whos back hurts all of the time. I weigh 115lbs.
