With over 42 tufts, the craftsmanship on this mattress represents how beds used to be made; by hand. Using our own micro coil design, we have over 5,000 coils to hug every curve of your body, delivering you to that kind of sleep that can literally change your life. Grown on our farm in England and made right here in the USA.
Tailored to true Spink & Co. standards, the Newport is a masterful blend of nature meets technology. This mattress has a medium feel, and it is designed to fall between the comfort of a firm bed and a plush bed. It offers slightly more cushioning than a firm sleep surface. This comfort level is the most popular. Not too hard and not too soft, it is a good option for couples with preferences at opposite ends of the comfort scale.
This sleep surface features a cloth-encased coil unit, sometimes referred to as a Marshall coil. The coils are twice tempered and individually wrapped in a strong fabric case. The cloth-encased coil keeps side-to-side motion minimal. Each coil is individual, not tied to other coils through connecting wire. That keeps the weight on one spring from affecting surrounding springs.
