Memory Firm Foam Fantastic

Too firm and loosing shape

I purchased my queen tempurpedic celebrity in 2005. Best mattress I’ve ever slept on, still in great shape

Firm felt great in store, not every night

I cannot blame the mattress for not fitting my body, but so far I am uncomfortable every night in my lower back and up between my shoulders. Trying to roll to the side to alleviate the pain and discomfort is difficult because the bed is so firm. My back will feel tired throughout the day. I bought this mattress because I have arthritis in the neck and scoliosis and my last softer saggy mattress made it all worse. I may try the Pro Adapt soft or Adapt medium. FYI I am 5'9" and 130 lbs. My 6' and 210 lb husband has no problem sleeping on this mattress.

Bad bed or not right for me?

This was too firm for me when purchased but part of a compromise. The first year was not too bad. My 5'6" 140 lb partner loved it. At the time I was 5'3" and 180 lbs. After that first year I began to have very bad lower back pain if I was in the bed for more than 7 hours. By the end of the second year I was also having severe shoulder, arm, and hand pain. If I ever slept more than 8 hours my entire body would ache. I ended up spending most of my nights sleeping on my couch. I am looking for a new bed now and hope that I can find something that does not cause me as much pain.

We tried a bed in a tempurpedic store. we ordered the tempurpedic adapt king soft bed from the army air force base exchange. We thought we had 90 days to try the bed. The exchange would not take the return and tempurpedic would not either. The bed is not the same as we tried in the store. So, now we are stuck with a $3,400 bed that we hate. Don't buy an overpriced, overrated tempurpedic bed.

warm mattress

this mattress is surprisingly warm. our 15yr old tempur-pedic was cooler than the tempur-pro. if you run warm, get one of the cooler versions.

Temperpedic does NOT honor their warranty

I have ALL original paperwork but Temperpedic tells me to call Leggit and Platt...they tell me to call Temperpedic. Try calling their customer service...you will hold for 1 hour- 2 1/2 hours. It doesn't matter what store you buy from, it comes back to Temperpedic only takes care of SALES and NOT PROBLEMS. I WOULD NEVER GET ANOTHER. My bed is like a V. Head up and feet up but my mid section DROOPS. They could care less. They already have my $
