One month after purchase I contacted Symbol because my mattress was sunken and it clearly states on their website that sinking is covered but they denied my claim bc they said it had to be sunken by 2.5 inches or more. This has been the most uncomfortable breed I’ve ever owned and I paid 1k for a full size so I should be able to expect quality. After two years my bed sinks so badly that it completely covers my hips so I contacted them again and they just tried to convince me that sinkage is normal for mattresses and they denied my claim again. Symbol is a dishonest company that you should not trust.

I’ve had this mattress for about 19 years and it has served me very well. I prefer a soft mattress and this symbol mattress comfort tech Dorchester was excellent.
I don’t believe they make it anymore and I’m very sad about it. If anyone knew one that was relatively the same I would get it.

I bought the mattress/box spring for $550 I believe in 2015. It was ok the first year or so, but then really began to sag in the middle. When you move the mattress, you can see how uneven it is, and when the bed is made up, you can see the sag. I even tried putting a board between box spring and mattress, but it did not help. I am replacing this with something better, and will use this on a platform bed (with no box spring) in my guest room. Do not recommend!
This mattress is worse than the mattress I discarded.
I am horrified with this mattress. I am supposed to be able to feel relief and rest. Instead my body is tortured by this mattress. It feels like I am lying on a pile of boulders. I actually take tylenol when I get up. I paid too much money for the agony I am experiencing. I am a senior on a fixed income I was able to buy this because of my stimulus money. This is not fair.
We slept on this mattress for about 3 months. I weigh about 170, my husband is 205. We got body sags in the mattress. At three months, the crevasses were visible. We had to position ourselves so that we were lying on one side of the canyon depending on which side we were sleeping on. We finally couldn't tolerate it after a year and gave it away. I wish I could post a picture! Also, I was always waking up around 2am roasting hot! There are no pros.
I have a herniated disc and degenerative disc disease as well as arthritis in my shoulder and hip. We have had many years of great sleep but it's time to get a new one. I am definitely going to get another one

Outstanding mattress that requires high end mattress care
Best sleep my wife and i have had in decades. As a hotel series mattress, it must be spun (head - to -toe) every 3 months as the foam must be manipulated to keep shape. Any dips being reported are most likely from failing to follow the care instructions to rotate the mattress, which was supplied with the mattress. Each rotation brings the mattress back to brand new condition.
We feel like we are sleeping in a 5 star hotel every night. Buy it, with a protector, and rotate it.

I used to experience horrible back pain until I purchase my "Belfast Pillowtop"! It's EXTREMELY comfortable - it's as though they discovered how to blend PERFECTLY the feeling of lying on a cloud that's fluffy, yet firm enough to comfortably hold you. I have had my mattress for a little more than 5 yrs. and I sleep on it EVERY night and I have never had another painful night since. Yes, I most certainly recommend this mattress & this company to anyone who wants to sleep in peace and comfort throughout the night!

The LOTUS STYLE Queen size MATTRESS and MATCHING BOX SPRING as well as a NEW METAL BED FRAME STARTED out GOOD, but NOT FOR LONG!!!
I have several bodily injuries from the past from my neck, back, shoulders, knees, hands, ankle and feet. I got the LOTUS Queen size MATTRESS with matching box spring and was on the moon for the comfort but in LESS THAN 3 MONTHS it SAGGED SEVERAL INCHES. I contacted the retailer, who in turn contacted SYMBOL MATTRESS COMPANY. It FELT like it basically TOOK an ACT of CONGRESS to GET the MATTRESS REPLACED!! I had to take my bed apart layer by layer to SHOW that it had a MATTRESS PROTECTOR ON it AND that I was USING a PROPER BOX SPRING (the one that came with it) AND the TYPE of FRAME I was USING with it. Finally AFTER OVER 6 MONTHS, Symbol replaced it with a DIFFERENT mattress, BUT the LOTUS Queen size style mattress set was NO LONGER AVAILABLE, so for and EXTRA $100.00 on top of the $580.00 I'd ALREADY spent, I purchased the OXFORD STYLE Queen size MATTRESS as well as the MATCHING BOX SPRING. Again, it STARTED out GOOD, BUT.... in LESS THAN 1 YEAR it started showing SIGNS of BLACK MOLD!! I contacted the retailer who in turn contacted Symbol Mattress Company. They WILL NOT REPLACE it because THEY say that it's CAUSED from the ENVIRONMENT!!!???? Explain to me how a mattress set can show BLACK MOLD in LESS THAN A YEAR from the TIME OF my PURCHASE??? The RESEARCH I looked at SUGGESTS that the black mold was PROBABLY ALREADY IN the MATTRESS BEFORE I BOUGHT IT and HAD just now WORKED its WAY TO the SURFACE where it is VISIBLE!!
DO NOT EVER BUY A SYMBOL MATTRESS if you don't have money to waste! THIS SYMBOL MATTRESS COMPANY is a JOKE for any type of WARRANTY or REPLACEMENT OF THEIR PRODUCTS!!
