I have had my set for 11 years. I still love it. The support the comfort are great. I weigh 230lbs too. I got it from American Freight.
I have had this mattress for a while now. Very comfortable. Best one among all stewart and Hamilton mattresses out there. Don't buy the cheaper ones.. When I got it on sale it cost me only 500 dollars. No mattress can beat this one for that price. I would recommend getting dream sleep or better one among all the Stewart and Hamilton mattresses. I hope this review was helpful.
Got this, and loved it from day one. Super soft and 'warm'...just like I like it! The cushion was laid out perfectly, although when I slept on it backwards...I was a little sore. So those that gave it a bad review, probably had the tag by their heads, and not their feet. Oh...BTW, I'm 6' in height...and once again, cushions set up nicely. 2 years old, and still looks great! (Don't forget to vacuum your mattresses people!)
I've had back problems for the past 20 years and could never seem to find the right mattress. I would always toss and turn throughout the night. This mattress has changed my life. I have sent multiple friends and family members in to buy the same one and they all say the same thing. We love the mattress! Cartlon Place by Stewert and Hamilton.
Bought new Stewart & Hamilton Perfect Care 4000 series Queen mattress May of 2013. Had to have the mattress replaced a year later, due to sags and sides giving out. Just had it replaced again for same reason just a little over a year later. We are not huge people, nor do we sit on the sides. It was initially very comfortable but does not last. The 10 year warranty is honored with pictures.
The store where we purchased has wonderful staff & no attitudes.
I purchase a set of mattress &box spring all most 3 yrs ago & now they are coming apart from the springs and in the middle of the bed has a dip.
But they going to tell me it's not a manufacturer defect don't under stand y not w springs coming through on the sides. But the bad thing about it I just took the plastic off the bed about 3 was ago.
They don't stand behind there warranty. But no one have that kind of money to through away. I both a set at big lot and last longer then that.
We got our bed on Feb.14, 2015, at American freight in Rome ga. We were assured the bed was " guaranteed for 10 years".We had slept on it less than 2 WEEKS before I began to notice the sag on each side where my partner and I had slept. I called them, and was told immediately we could not return it because the PLASTIC HAD BEEN REMOVED!!! What????? Who sleeps with the PLASTIC on the mattress??? Not a fan of getting screwed around!! We have been to the magistrates office and are now going to court ... yay!!! We just wanted our money back. Not trying to MAKE money off them! Just wanted a good bed!!! If you're shopping, DON'T GO TO AMERICAN FREIGHT!
ive had 3 now. warrenty is worthless and quality is a joke dips in 6 months and fabrics ravels up like lint in a dryer and warrenty is limited less than year even though told "10 years" LIES!
First off, this is the noisiest bed, why would you put some kind of cardboard on top of box spring? We tried out at store, seemed so comfortable, not the same when we got home. Store said we had guarantee, went to use the guarantee, they told us there was none with this bed, very disappointed.
I received this mattress as a Christmas gift in Dec 2012. Within 3-4 months the middle began sagging and now my back aches every day from sleeping on it.
I hope this will be replaced by the company it was bought at or the manufacturer.
After 6 months bed is sagging on both sides. I am a very small person and this shouldn't have happened to a mattress with a 10 year warranty which American Freight refuses to honor. Buyer beware.
HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!!!! Box spring is good but MATTRESS is horrible sunk in as if it were used and not knew..........comfortable day 1 then after that it sunk in bouth sides of where I sleep and my husband s...............what a total rip off ...I will never ever buy from niether company and rather go to SleepNumber ....lesson learned ...............horrible .................. and we just bought from American Freight in Miami Gardens for close to $500 but the original bed we had cost $40 and it was in better condition. This bed was "new" wrapped in plastic and white but firm for less then 2 months I will be calling American Frieght and the mattress company for a refubd or replacement
Within 3 months, the side cushioning collapsed and blew out. Within 6 months, another side went. And my wife and I are not morbidly obese people. No support. Lumpy. I wake up in the morning in pain. Has formed a valley in the middle which has brought my wife and I closer together, but in a bad way. But wait, there's a 25 yr warranty right? When you find a number or a retailer willing to stand by It, let me know.
Do not waste money on it. Was soft and nice in beginning but now you can clearly see why it was a cheaper mattress. It has a visible bulge at end. Springs went bad. The "pillow top" which initially was said by dealer as the best in store, has gone flat.
