Ordered this mattress from a local store after trying their demo model. The mattress I received is nothing like the one I tried before purchase. It's like a slab of concrete with a pillow top that does nothing to cushion it. The rating says "plush" but this one has to be mis-tagged. The local store will not do anything so I guess I am stuck with it.

This is the 2nd King sized Southerland mattress we've owned!
We purchased our first Southerland in 2008, moved overseas & took it with us since it was brand new. When we came back 2 years later, we couldn't bring it back so we sold it. Once we were getting settled back in the USA we needed to buy another mattress. We went back to same place and ended up buying another Southerland. We love this one as much as we loved the first one. In fact, when we travel we are ALWAYS so happy to get back home to our own bed because it is SO comfortable. Highly recommend.
This mattress was very comfortable for the first year. 2 1/2 years later the middle is sagging significantly-causing severe back pain and several dr appts/X-rays etc. purchased two of these beds-never again

We have felt very uncomfortable on this bed within the first month. We feel we are falling into a depression and constantly turning during the night to try and get comfortable. We wake up early and with aches and pains. We have followed the instructions on the warranty card to no avail. We called the store that we purchased it from and they offered no assistance referring us to the warranty of the company. We have purchased thousands of dollars. In furniture and beds from Luckies and will not deal with them ever again. Certainly not purchase another Southerland mattress. Luckies steered us to this product from Serta. They should be ashamed!

This bed was bought as Firm, its sure doesn't feel like a Firm mattress, it sunk down in the center after a few months, replaced it. Called back, same problem,. told to turn it every 2 months, this is Crazy...We Purchased this from a Dealer who has Local Fund Raisers at Middle and High School,, supposedly 50 % off, this mattress cost $1,800.00, we paid 50% of that cost plus tax.....Not worth the half price....
Not a quality Mattress, I would never buy another..

This bed is amazing I had no idea about this brand until recently. Had I known sooner this new would hav saved me from many sleepless night. I'm so glad I found this bed. I have the king sized pillow top OCTAVE. I love it definitely worth the affordable price!
This mattress started sagging two weeks after purchase, both sleeping sides of the bed had deep troughs in it causing both my husband and I back pain and lack of sleep. I took it back to the furniture store where I purchased it from after 2 months, to be treated with the worst customer service ever. They inspected the mattress without taking off the plastic I wrapped in, stating they found nothing wrong with it. Poor quality, horrible comfort, and warranty. Save your money and keep looking.

I have never slept as good as I do know with my Southerland mattress! We bought 3 sets and they are all wonderful! The feel great, give awesome support and were priced right.. We had shopped several stores and the Southerland Brand felt and was priced better than several on the national brands....
