Great Mattress!

My partner and I have been really happy we purchased the Zenhaven mattress. The company is so easy to work with and they are extremely accommodating. We did end up purchasing and returning the foundation because we decided to get our own platform bed instead. The return of the foundation was EASY and they picked it up within a couple of days. I actually really like the feel of the latex mattress, because you don't sink into it the way you would with memory foam. It has more energy and bounce to it, so it's easy to get in and out of the bed. However, it is still quite comfortable and supportive. I am also a big fan of the natural material and the organic cover, I feel safe and healthy sleeping for hours on this mattress. There is absolutely no off-gassing or smell to the mattress and it naturally resists mold, mildew, mites, etc. Also, it naturally sleeps cool, which I really like as well. We are using the softer side of the mattress and we are considering getting a topper. I know this is completely unnecessary, but I think having a cover would make me feel better about keeping it clean and it might be nice to have an additional soft layer. We haven't pulled the trigger on this yet, but it is in the back of our minds. Also, when I wake up in the morning, I really do look like I've been sleeping on a luxury mattress. The bags under my eyes have been going away and I believe that my sleep is deeper. I don't track my sleep like some people do, but I think this mattress is improving my quality of life. I should have upgraded sooner! Thanks Saatva for creating a great product!

Mattress is great for the first 6-7 month

Bad back issues because of sagging. After many doctor visits, chiropractor, physical therapy, an ER visit and many massages I realized that everytime i went on vacation for a week my back was better....because I wasn't sleeping on this mattress. I wish i would have never purchased this mattress. They have offered to replace the mattress with a new one, but i don't want to go through this every year. I have asked to be reimbursed so I can get a new mattress that doesn't kill my back. I got the "I can't do that but I'll have someone from senior management give you a call. Yeah ok - My guess is I'll be out $1100. I will have to buy a new mattress and as long as I can function and not live in pain (with a new brand of mattress) - I guess I should be happy.

Great Mattress

I've had the luxury firm for a couple of years, and I love it. It's very comfortable, great quality, looks beautiful. I was previously sleeping on a firm Sears mattress with a latex topper. The Saatva is more comfortable. Definitely an upgrade. Very convenient delivery and good customer service. No issues a couple of years in.

Don't hesitate -a great value!

Great experience all around and the product is a phenomenal value. After only a few weeks with the Luxury Firm model I put my second mattress on order. I'll never step foot in a mattress store again.

Love My Saatva Luxury Firm Mattress

Ordered and received my Luxury Firm Saavta Mattress October 2016. Reading the many reviews (positive and negative) extensively for about 6 months or longer helped with my decision to purchase. Also the Saavta website presents very detailed descriptions and illustrations of the mattress. The customer service is excellent which I think is a good assurance for the consumer. Upon ordering my mattress it was delivered in less time than I anticipated, delivery was prompt. The mattress is wonderful, I look forward to going to bed every night. The comfort level is superb! I had experienced sleeping on memory foam mattresses and memory foam simply does not work for me. Prior to purchasing the mattress I had experienced discomfort in my lower back from sleeping on an older mattress that lacked firm support but since the first night I slept on this mattress I can honestly say it is the cure. I searched for an affordable mattress with coils and Saavta was the solution for me. Also appreciate that materials used are eco-friendly and the mattress is made in America.

Not as good as all the hype. Just OK. Not worth the price.

I purchased a King Size Luxury Firm Saatva about almost three ago. I was also sucked in by the "wonderful" reviews posted on different sites on the web. They build the impression that this is a top mattress selling at a low price because they sell directly to you. They compare this mattress favorably with Tempur-pedic, Sleep Number etc. But this is all marketing, and they appear to be good at it. Some of the reviews on the sites appear very convincing. They will list some "cons" like "not 100% organic", which some of us will brush off as a minor issue, but it gets us to believe the review is honest. Many of these sites will not mention that they are compensated by Saatva by clicks or in some other way. So ... after almost 3 years, I am not very impressed with this mattress. It appears well constructed and seems to be of a decent quality. But it is by no means wonderful. My sleep has not improved at all. To me it sleeps about as well as our prior mattress. My wife actually feels that our prior mattress sleeps better than this one. And the Saatva cost more than twice as much as the previous mattress. My experience has not been horrible. But if you are looking for a bargain super sleeper, this is not it. You can get an average mattress for the same experience at half the price. Or you can spend the same amount or more for a better experience elsewhere.

Horrible off gas odor

I received this mattress this past weekend. While the bed is quite comfortable, I have never purchased a mattress that has the off gas odor that this one does. It smells so strong chemically that you feel like you're in a paint booth. I am on the 2nd day of airing it out with an oscillating fan with a window open but so far no improvement. When I called the company a staff member was very nice and suggested replacing the mattress. I am probably going this route only due to the fact that the condition must be rare because they could never sell any product if this odor was a common occurrence.

Doesn't live up to the hype

We found glowing reviews for Saatva on the web and decided to try it. We got the middle-firm mattress initially, and within the 90day trial period, there were depressions on the bed where my wife and I slept, and a noticable "cliff" in the center. We returned the mattress and received the middle-soft model. Again, within the 90day trial period, we had noticable body depressions and a hump in the middle of the bed. While the product was questionable, Saatva had great customer service - 24 helpline and no questions asked on returns.

Not a true pillow top. Well made but really uncomfortable

We were very disappointed in our Saatva queen size mattress. We are both side and back sleepers. We have tried two of them, and still are very unhappy and are now going to change to a different brand. If you look around online, you'll see a lot of people are unhappy with the hardness of this mattress. In our case, based on their advice on the phone, we first tried the Luxury Firm (middle firmness) and then exchanged it for a Plush Soft (softest of the 3 firmnesses) mattress. We still find even the soft one really hard. I wake up with hip aches and my husband has been having problems sleeping almost every night! We just don't find these beds comfortable. On the positive side, it seems to be decent quality and sleeps cool. Don't expect a real pillow top from this company. What they call the "pillow" is built in and the mattress sleeps like any other regular (non-pillow-top) mattress. My husband and I have been uncomfortable every day for more than 2 months with these two mattresses and we've had enough. We are now returning the Plush Soft one and exchanging it for a Serta gel pillow top that we've tried before and found comfortable. (The pricing is similar, btw.) Saatva did not reimburse either of the two shipping costs we incurred, but are reimbursing us for the mattress. As for customer service, we found it a mixed bag. The woman who exchanged the first mattress for the second was snarky and had an attitude. The man who processed our final return of the second mattress was lovely. He is allowing us to keep our box springs if we choose to do so.
