WAKE UP DAILY WITH PAINNNNN!!!

I do feel bad writing this review but I really can't take the pain any longer. Now my husband says he has had pain since we purchased the King Luxury Firm but chalked it up to age (49). He really doesn't complain much but today woke up with terrible lower back pain. My 10 yr old grandson also told me last night while sleeping in my bed that both his legs became numb and tingling, which is very weird. I will be calling Saatva on Monday. Let me 1st say that the customer service is very pleasant to deal with so that was a plus. When I 1st purchased this mattress Feb 2014 (due to the great reviews) it was delivered with about a 2 inch bulge on one side from top to bottom of the mattress. I called and they refunded a fair portion of the amount. I did state that I had terrible pain and tingling/numb from the 1st day. They said that it was because the mattress was new and the pain/numbness should subside as this is normal. TERRIBLE TO SAY, IT NEVER DID. I have been in pain almost daily since sleeping on this mattress. I figured since they refunded some of the mattress price I couldn't complain. I do have to say in honesty, I have arthritis in my neck, back pain, etc so it may be hard to please me when it comes to mattresses. I really did try with this mattress (1 1/2 yrs) but we are going to look into a new mattress with another company. I wish I would have called Saatva sooner because I am sure they would have worked with me regarding a return. I now know that this is one of the defective mattresses that was received (bulging, sagging where we sleep (my husband 230lbs, ME 125lbs), pain). It just didn't work for us. A frustrated customer with PAIN.

Pleasantly Surprised

Our memory foam mattress was making me physically sick. I figured we didn't have anything to lose with trying this mattress because of the many great reviews on the Saatva. I was drawn in by how the Saatva mattress is constructed with eco-friendly materials. Customer service was indeed awesome. Once it was delivered, I wanted to like it and at the same time I wanted to not like it because it was a lot firmer than what I was use to. But from the get go, both me and my spouse have slept really well on it. My back pain has honestly been better. My only regret is not getting the smaller box spring.

Pain in the back....

Pain in the back… As a recently turned 50 year old and ex competitive athlete I have suffered through low back pain the past 8 years. I had a surgery to fuse my SI joint and try to stabilize my low back and bring some relief, it provided some benefit but I would still wake up every day with major back pain. I have slept on the highly marketed and somewhat popular dial-a-hardness air mattress for the past 6 year and I felt it was time to move on and find some relief. I spent a great deal of time researching the internet on best mattress especially for back pain suffers, etc. I read pretty much every review on Saatva; the reviews, the warranty, the value for a high-end luxury mattress, and the customer service all combined to make my decision an easy one to go with a Saatva mattress. I selected the “Flagship Luxury Firm” King based on the reviews from a few fellow back pain suffers, easily and quickly placed my order online and waited impatiently for my new mattress. So here’s the bad news-good news. The middle firmness level of the “Luxury Firm” was too soft for my back. I would still wake up in pain in the middle of the night and upon getting up in the morning it took a good while to get moving, I found my pain level was pretty high and I was not sleeping well. I was so reluctant to call the company and “complain”, it’s simply not my style, but I made the call. The customer service agent could not have been easier, more polite, and more accommodating...”not a problem Mr. Kelly we’ll take care of it and switch you to our firm King.” Within a minute or two I was off the phone and had an email confirmation of the new order. Within a few weeks they picked up the other mattress and set up my new King Firm Saatva. Wow, what a mattress. I wish I could say I wake up pain free but I don’t. I do sleep through the night and when I wake up it’s a moderate low-level pain…perhaps a 1-2 on scale of 10 where before a good morni ng was a 5 at best. My wife loves it as well and our level of true rest has increased tremendously

a rip off, dont belkieve the made up reviews

Initially had the soft version, hated that and returned for the lux firm. We haven't had a good nights sleep since purchase. We cant afford another, but its so bad, we are going to donate it. Just terrible

We have only slept on this mattress for about 3 weeks. It seems to be all it was advertised to be. We too had some delivery issues but quite frankly, Saatva customer service is second to none in any industry. If, over the long run, the mattress proves to be as good as the customer service was, this will have been a great buy. Comfort level of the mattress is very pleasing to me and my back issues.

I love my bed!

I was very impressed with ordering this bed on line. The web site is easy to navigate and the the Saatva folks were there to help me through the process. I have just ordered my second mattress for the guest room. I know that I will get a quality product with hassle-free-impeccalbe service! What more could one ask for?

Finally the perfect mattress

As most of the people here have stated, I was also skeptical ordering a mattress online. I'm a researcher when it comes to buying anything. I read and read and read before I buy a product and go to stores and do a lot of looking. I'm a self-professed Frugal Fanny also and try to find the best deal on the best product when I buy anything. All of the above being said, I decided on the Saatva because of everything I read about it. Not only on the Saatva website but on other websites and You Tube mattress reviewers as well. I am in love with my Luxury Firm mattress. I like a firm mattress and my husband likes one that's not so firm. This one is perfect for both of us. We were using an organic latex mattress with a luxury pillowtop and it slept too hot for me. I would wake up soaked in sweat. My husband would complain of being hot also when he was home. He travels a lot and said he didn't have that problem at hotels. The mattress also had indentions where I slept even though I turned it often. I felt like I was sleeping in a hole. I'm a stomach and back sleeper and my husband is a side sleeper. The latex mattress cost us around $5,000 and all I could think of was I needed to get rid of it. It was 8 years old, but had a 20-year warranty. Good Riddance! I'm so, so happy I found Saatva. I slept better from the first night. It's heaven to me. I have had a hard time sleeping for years and now I'm so absolutely comfortable. I also have Fibromyalgia and I have no aches, pains or stiffness from this mattress. I have only had my Luxury Firm mattress about a month and would fight someone if they tried to take it back. This was a great decision for my husband and I and if you are skeptical don't be. It's Heaven!

Customer service that is above and beyond

Saatva is a company that truly cares about the well-being of its customers. They were quick to answer all my questions and concerns. They even went the extra mile when I had a special request for them. Not only that, the VP of the company got in touch with me to personally see that everything was correctly taken care of. Saatva's end goal is to see that their customer's achieve a good nights' rest.

I am lovin' my mattress!

I had been waking up with a stiff back and attributed it to exercise and/or old age. Then I travelled abroad for two weeks and slept fabulously. Ah! My MATTRESS is the problem! The SAATVA ad was in my Sunday NYTimes Magazine and I placed the order. I had a delivery issue but the General Manager jumped on it personally, immediately and the issue was solved. I am in love with my mattress! Sweet dreams, everyone.
