I had bought a 4,000 mattress, paid in full. Had it delivered and they removed my old mattress (no wrapping applied) same day in the truck with all the other inventory and deliveries for the day. I was told they could not set it up on my bed frame because I needed a base board, so I called and bought one. It was delivered 4 days later unwrapped (not wrapped in plastic protection like the new mattress). After a few weeks I noticed bites on me and checked the bed to see bed bugs. I had surgery so I had not traveled or stayed in any other place. No one in my home traveled or stayed anywhere. I had to call an exterminator for inspection and treatment. The exterminator determined the bed bugs originated from the base board as it had the only signs of bed bugs (he had to tear the lining of the base board as well to find more bed bug stains). Upon learning this, I immediately called Jordan's furniture to let them know of the situation. Unfortunately, Jordan's Furniture is taking no responsibility. They stated there is possibility of me getting the bed bugs from the delivery truck because they admit to taking other people's mattresses unwrapped in trucks with the new inventory on delivery days but then deny my claims even though I have sent in evidence. This whole experience has been very traumatic for me as I have NEVER dealt with this situation before and it has also been extremely costly to try and rectify the situation. I wish I had done more research as now after looking into this company, I have read more horror stories/comments of this happening to others. BUYER BEWARE!!!

    Bed bugs can still get into a factory-wrapped mattress. Bed bugs are small enough to fit through the tiniest of spaces, so it’s possible for them to get inside a factory-sealed mattress. However, there are ways to prevent bed bugs from getting into your mattress. One way is to use a mattress encasement that is specifically designed to keep bed bugs out. Once the encasement is sealed, any bed bugs inside the mattress or hiding in the bed springs cannot escape or feed, and they will eventually die. This helps to control any existing infestation and prevent a bed bug infestation from starting

    Jordan's has not tried to work with me . I asked for a refund for a set that I bought and is now stained from bed bugs , torn from having to be inspected & treated by an exterminator.. I asked for a refund so I could dispose of the soiled mattress which is gross and unacceptable. But Jordan's will not honor my request. I have never done business with a company who caused a problem and a costly one in that and shows no concern nor compassion. It may be nice to have new furniture delivered and they take away your old furniture but this should not be done in the same truck. People need to be more concerned about getting fleas, bed bugs cockroaches ect. You don't think about this problem until it is brought into your home and costs you thousands to rectify.. After Jordan's sells you stuff and delivers it they are done . I hope any buyer now will research, ask questions, take videos and be aware to how this company does business.

That being said, based on the information provided we are unable to approve your claim.     Although words of kindness are a nice response , actions mean more to customers. I have provided receipts, pictures and a written reason from the exterminator to where the bed bugs originated . I also have three people who can state for a fact when , where and how . This being said , it happened because of your business policies. Also lets not forget as a customer my household was not protected by you nor was my health to my family. You never gave me any options but to say I have no claim. Big business with low standards is more like it. SHAME ON YOU ! If anything I hope people see how you take claims seriously .Have a great night and don't let the bed bugs bite.
